S – Sri Lanka

England were playing Sri Lanka at cricket. What more excuse did we need to head out to Tooting for some Chili Squid and Devilled Mutton? Lurking in a no-mans-land between Colliers Wood and Tooting Broadway, our stop at Apollo Banana Leaf provided us with an insight into subtle flavours of Sri Lankan cuisine as well as the warmth and kindness of her people.
